Let It Rain
Dec. 11th, 2002 04:36 amWe've got a big pain in the ass rain storm going on. I went out shopping in it today. Without an umberella. Now I look like a drowned rat. But I did manages to find two new bras at Macy's so it was not all in vain.
I looked for clothing as well but I couldn't find anything. Not at H & M or Old Navy. Seems like all the clothes this season are designed for ladies with pert breasts and flat tummies, neither of which I possess. Oh I used to possess them but no more no more. I really miss being able to try on anything and know ahead of time that it was going to look fabulous on me. Ah how I took my thinness for granted.
We got our grades today. Took me about 15 minutes to actually get up the courage to check them. I was sure McAndrew was gonna fail me because I didn't do the final lab write up. But, he was kind and gave me a C which is what I deserve. And Hellenga and Rob both gave me B's. And it's all good because my 3.0 GPA is still intact and that's all that matters.
Still plodding along with the intro. Wrote a couple pages this afternoon. I think I'll have it all done and revised by the end of the weekend. Gonna ask Mike if he'll let me come to his office on Monday to print it all out and bind it.
