How Appropriate

Bought a few new lit mags today. Picked up a copy of "Main Street Rag" and found this poem by Cheryl Townsend in it. Seems highly appropriate just about now.

Warning

I told him, man
there's a storm going
on inside me that
ain't gonna blow
over anytime soon.
So batten down yr
hatches & either
settle in for the ride
or head for safer
lands 'cuz even
the red Cross won't
help you here.
