I just got finished watching tonight's episode of Angel. I am crying so hard. I'm crying the way I cried when Al Giardello died on Homicide: Life on the Streets.

Cordy. I can't beleive they killed her. They brought her back to save the entire group from total fracture and then they killed her. It was so sad and so wonderful all at the same time.

And now I'm in mouring. This is what happens when I become emotionally invested in a fictional character. I mourn their loss. I loved Cordelia. I love the way she grew and developed over the course of the series. I love how they turned her around. It hurts to know she's gone for good.

Speaking of gone for good, I was very pleased that they showed Doyle footage tonight. Glenn Quinn died of a drug overdose a little over a year ago. His character hadn't been mentioned on the show since. I'm glad they resurrected his memory tonight.

Yes I know how dorky this all sounds, but I really honestly LOVE the characters I deem worthy enough to hold my attention over time.

You understand that don't you?

What?! *chokes*

Cordelia was one of my favorite Buffy characters, and basically the only thing that made Angel worth watching. It's a damn good thing I don't have a TV here. I'd be incapacitated with sadness.
