morrigirlThat's a fabulous word ain't it? Marsupial. It rolls over the tongue like a fine wine or something.
Anyway, I'm refusing to write about anything negative tonight. I'm not in the mood. So here is an entry full of nothing but happy nummy things of all sizes.
1) I finally found soemthing to read. This morning I went and bought Maggie Estep's latest book, a mystery novel called "Hex," and the latest Adrian Mole book, "Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years." Decided I'd start with Adrian and my god was a great choice that was. I've been in hysterics all day. I forgot what a keen writer Sue Townsend is. I'm only up to page 62 and I'm already hooked. All I want to do is keep reading. Adrian is such an outrageously stuffy and self-involved character, it's darn near impossible not to love him for all his stupidity.
2) I got a surprise in the mail yesterday. Got home to find a small package from the company that manufactures Bratz Dolls waiting for me. Periodically they send out little thank you gifts to all the kids who are signed up on their website. Once I got a little carrying case, another time I got a pencil set, yesterday they sent me my very first Lil Brat! I was delighted. They sent me a lil Cloe, who is actually cuter in miniature. I want to play with her but she's so adorable I think I'll just leave her in the box. I took a picture of my new toy with the webcam, here she is:
3) Lymon is moving to his new apartment tomorrow so he has taken the night off to pack. Mary is subbing for him. That in and of itself is reason for celebration, but the fact that it's been a slow night makes it more so.
4) Yesterday I asked Charles, Sebastien, and Victor what their favorite Beatles songs are. Victor named some song I'd never heard of, Sebastien said he'd need to think about it, and Charles, being a musician and all, couldn't pick a single song and instead chose one from each album and explained the musical importance of each one. I found it a highly amusing cop out. After giving Sebastien the entire night to think about it, I demanded an amswer from him. He copped out as well. Couldn't decide on one. His brilliant response was, "well what's YOUR favorite Beatles song?" I told him I never pose a question to others that I don't already have my own answer for.
5) I slept well last night. I switched my old flat pillows with the fluffy guest pillows. My neck and back thanked me this morning by not hurting.
6) Really great episode of Angel last night, though I still have no clue who the guy Eve got in bed with at the end is. All I know is that his name is Lindsey. Anyone know who this character is? Somebody on my friends list has got to watch Angel!
7) It's not rainy OR humid today!!!
8) I don't have to work tomorrow!!!
