Expensive Jewelry

For the last five years I have asked for expensive jewelry for Valentine's Day and I've never gotten any. Of course, I haven't had a significant other most of those years, but that's besides the point. I decided a while back that I would just keep on asking until someone somewhere gave me shinies.

Well, on Saturday Greg presented me with a box containing a beautiful necklace. The chain in white gold and the pendant is a blue sapphire flanked by two small diamonds. It is gorgeous!

I guess I won't be asking for jewelry again next year :-)

The only piece of expensive jewelry I've ever bought is on Evie's finger as I type this.

It's pretty. Though, it pales to her.
