I was just showing my mother the pictures I took at Homecoming and when she got to the final shot, the one of Greg and me by the Chicago River, she stared at it for a moment with a little smile on her face and then said to me, "You're a very pretty girl. And you have a very pretty smile."
I said "It's yours." Because, well, it is. She had it first, I merely inherited it.
And she said, "It looks good on you."
