Two HPV Articles from Jane Magazine
Apr. 8th, 2007 04:21 amI was directed to these two articles this evening.
"I Hate Tumors" - March 2006
"I Still Hate Tumors" - March 2007
Pretty scary stuff.
The one thing that irked me about these articles were the few times abnormal and pre-cancerous cells were referred to as cancer. That's completely inaccurate. Cancer is cancer. Abnormal and pre-cancerous cells can develop into cancer, but are not themselves cancer. As the author notes there is already tons of misinformation about HPV floating around. Why make it worse?
