Heard some great gossip yesterday. Steffi told Tina told me that Lindsey is dropping out of law school. Apparently little miss lazy butt "just didn't like it." Now she's hoping to pursue a career in radio to which I say GOOD FUCKING LUCK!!!! You have a better chance of finishing law school than getting on the air particularly in a big city like Chicago. Gayle and I think she's gonna wind up living back home with her parents. That's what she always wanted all along. To be home, and to not have to do anything. Anyway, given the fact that all she talked about throughout college was going to law school, I find this highly amusing. Makes me happy to see someone I dislike give up on their dreams.

Deepa came over on Saturday. Mom made birthday cake and we all sat around enjoying its chocolatey goodness. Dee gave me a gift certificate to Circuit City which I used today to buy the latest Aimee Mann CD. It was good to see her. As usual the girl cracked my shit up. Seeing Deepa always raises my spirits.

Hmm, let's see, what else? Oh, I spoke to Allie online today for the first time ever. That was pretty neat. She's a cool chick. Wants me to make a request to join the BS Regs. *shrugs* Given the fact that half the people I know on this site already think I'm a member, why not?

I finished reading "Up in the Air" just a few moments ago. Very depressing book. Good, but depressing. What is it with me and these oh so desolate novels? Whay can't I read something HAPPY for once? Next on my reading list is True to Form by Elizabeth Berg which doesn't promise to be much of a feel good story either. Katie Nash is like the quintessential suffering teen. Nothing good ever happens to her. Can someone please recommend a happy, or at very least, FUNNY book for me to read?

Updated my resume. Sent it out to Mike today. He's gonna look over it and give me feedback tomorrow. With any luck, by the end of the week, I'll be able to start faxing them out.
