Priorities

I am jealous as all hell.

Why? Because my mother just agreed to give my brother Michael a several thousand dollar loan to assist him in putting up the show he's directing!!! Yet she continues to insist we have no money to get my fucking wisdom teeth removed. WHAT THE HELL?!

Granted, Michael is going to have to pay the money back. But he's not exactly Mr. Money Bags himself. If he were he wouldn't have had to ask for the loan in the first place. Michael however, is still in the process of paying back a loan mom gave him two years ago. He pays her in 20 bucks here, 50 there, so it's not like she can hope to see any of the money she just lent him come back any time soon.

I can't tell you how much this pisses me off. We know for a fact that my wisdom teeth are going to continue affecting my health unless we take them out, and the sooner we do it the better. I was in pain and practically imobile for a week because of my wisdom teeth. I think we've seen that my tooth is a major problem that needs immediate attention.

Micahel on the other hand will not be curled up in a fetal position for seven days if he doesn't get money from Mom. In fact, if she said no, he still has a billion other actor friends he could con into giving him cash. he's already way over budget on this show. He wants to have all these big expensive audio visual elements, and I asked him once if he had the money for it and he flat out told me, no he didn't, but that he was gonna think big and than hope the money just came to him?! I ask you again, WHAT THE HELL!? When we did Laramie Project, Liz planned lots of audio visual elements that she had to cut at the start of tech week because she realized she wasn't gonna have the money to put them up. It was no big tragedy. Her vision was flexible enough to adapt to the change. Obviously Michael's vision is not.

But it's not Mike I'm mad at, it's Mom. I was sitting in the living room with Mom and overheard their entire conversation. She immediately said yes when he asked her. She didn't bitch, or moan, or whine, she just said, sure. What kind of fucking priorites does this woman have? I'm all about supporting the arts but not at the expense of your childs fucking health. Not when you've been screaming for weeks about how little money you have.

Mom NEVER says no to Michael. N E V E R!!!! If he needed a loan to get his wisdom teeth out I guarentee she'd agree to foot the entire god damn bill!!! Why is his show more important that my health???? WHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never wanted to kill her as much as I do right now.

it's never fair

Try this out for size, I constantly get turned down for help, let alone acknowledgement that I am alive from my family. THen Jenny who is a loser, gets to live free of charge, cigarettes, phone, car expenses provided with my Grandmother and mother. THATS not fair. If I was home, WhEN I was home I had to pay rent, buy groceries, my own cigarettes and mom's, and buy her gas if she drove me anywhere.
Does your mom make you pay rent? Or bills?
If not then way the priorities, be an adult, shock your mom and take care of your tooth yourself. Of course I think stand off's for money are always warranted cuz dammit us younguns deserve some support. BUt mostly parents don't crack. If you have the money saved up, it's there for emergencies like this. I'd say floor youre mom by doing it on your own, quietly and without a word. I bet that shocks her even more then crying or protesting unjust. Because parents are turned off to that, its' like they turn off the ability to hear when a child expresses pain. Evil ones.
Just do it missy, get yourself there to the dentist and yank it out, then it will all by history. And you can proceed to guilt trip your mom later. SOmeitmes just taking care of it yourself, makes it better off in the end. And if you need help you know who you can ask, 9 times out of 10 its not the family. I asked mom for money Gram's money, she gave lisa what she owed her, Cari a couple thou, stacey 3,000, and jenny more then anyone can count. And until I called her what was she going to give me...nothing. Oh wait maybe a cell phone, est cost 100bucks for the year. So yeah. ANyway last day of work, tiem to go. Tlak ot you soon. Take care urself missy I want u in one piece when i get there, hehe.
