* Receieved a wubulous email from Mikey the other day informing me that the first two seasons of Homicide: Life on the Streets will be released on DVD May 27th. Boo Yow!!! That is so going on my birthday/graduation list. Nevermind that I don't own a DVD player, or even a playstation. I just need the comfort of having both collections in my house.

* The visit with Katie and Jeremiah was great! It was just like old times. The three of us, plus Mark Taylor sat on my couch watching Pet Semetary and cracking jokes till the wee hours of the morning. Good times, good times. It's been a year since I've seen either of them and neither has changed a bit. Same ole Katie and Jeremiah. And yesterday they took me out to lunch at Landmark to thank me for letting them stay at the apartment.

* Friday I got my Easter package from Mom. This year it contained a beanie bunny, jelly beans, cadbury creme eggs of course, Dove chocolate, and two tank tops from the Gap. Yeah, I was happy.

* Tina's senior art show was Friday. I wasn't able to go because I had rehearsal, but I stopped by before hand and looked at everything. The entire show was hung very well, it was pleasing to the eye. T said they had a nice turn out and she sold a pretty decent amount of work. Yay Tina!

* Speaking of the play, Friday night rehearsal went pretty well. I'm getting a handle on Rebecca Hilliker, and I think I've found a way to distinguish her from Barbara Pitts. Since most of Barabara's lines are reflective, I'm gonna let her have a pad and pencil that she can constantly be scribbling in. That way she will constantly be hunched over the pad and her posture will differ dramatically from Rebecca's. Plus it'll make her look a little closed off and apprehensive, a little more like she's just taking notes, not really involved with her surroundings. And that way we can see her open up in the Matt Galloway scene. When we ran the Fireside scene Friday night, Will was totally talking straight to me and it occurred to me that Matt's character is not the kind of person Barbara is expecting to find in Laramie. He's a lot less redneck then everyone else. So that scene plays a significant part in the Tectonic Theater Players growing ease with Laramie.

* Tina and Gemma both really liked their Easter baskets :) They said it had been years since they'd gotten one. And they really loved their ultra soft bunnies. I guess feeling up all those stuffed bunnies was all worth while.

* And if you hadn't noticed yet, I was FINALLY able to scan and upload some pictures of myself onto my journal and profile, thanks to Tina and her fabulous scanner. The one on my profile came out too small so I think I'm gonna change the dimensions and reload it. But the one here on my journal came out perfect!!! It was cropped and reduced to just the right size. And I look like such a bad ass! I love it!!!
