Just Another Headache

Update:

1) Made an appointment to see the dentist next Tuesday. Was talking to silent_t yesterday and she told me that if the offending tooth has already broken through the skin, the dentist may just be able to yank the sucker out without having to send me to an oral surgeon. Welp, this tooth is about three quarters in, so I'm hoping Dr. Diamond can pull it. Lord knows my Mom will be jumping for joy if it turns out she only has to pay for one doctor's visit.

And silent_t is such a sweetie, she said she'd lend me the money to have my tooth taken out if Mom wouldn't spring for it. A noble gesture considering the fact that she has about as much money as I do, maybe less.

2) Tooth is actually feeling a bit better today. It's still sore but it's not knock you on your ass painful. I'm starting to wonder if it's even the tooth that's the problem. I took a look in my mouth last night and noticed my gums look really swollen. Maybe there's something wrong with my gums, not my teeth.

3)Question of the week: Why are the cutest guys the most arrogant assholes?

4) Made the upsetting discovery last night that my new computer doesn't have a floppy disk drive!!! After reading through the oweners manual we found out that floppy drives are optional and you have to specifically request one in order to have it installed on your computer!!! Fucked up thing is, when I was customizing this sucker on the Dell website, there was absolutely no mention of this. Jesus, MAry, and Joseph I didn't know one had to REQUEST a fucking floppy drive these days!!! I mean, honestly what the hell good is a computer you can't use disks on? Not including a floppy drive makes the damn thing darn near useless if you ask me.

So now we're trying to get a hold of someone at Dell who can tell us what we need to do to GET a floppy drive, and to complain that their onl;ine buying procedures are hardly user friendly.

my sister's laptop doesnt have a floppy drive either, isnt that crazy?

but then last night I found out about this new storage device for computers that sounds so kick ass. It's called a USB key and I think Steph said it was under $100 and it sounds like it works similar to memory cards on play station games. You plug it into your USB port on your computer and you can store SHITLOADS on it. I swear you could store like my entire computer on this thing. Just another option aside from buying an external floppy drive

and the cute guys = arrogant assholes thing only occurs when the guys know that they're totally cute. Cause when they know it and it goes to their head they start thinking their god's gift and then they become asssholes. Thats why I like the guys who are cute and don't know it. They tend to be much more modest :)

I hope the dentist can take care of your tooth for you. And a possible reason for your gums being swollen is because the tooth was coming in, I mean, it did have to break the surface, right? Your gums and the rest of your mouth can't like that either.

1.) Im glad you went to the dentist. People really need to take care of their teeth! Teeth are painful and if they start rotting or whatnot, it can be expensive to repair them. and it causes a lot of stress. I hate the dentist but I finally floss everyday after the harassed me for a long time. I had a period of time where I didn't go to the dentist for 6 years and when I finally went the cleaning bitch said my teeth looked like a 60 year old's! grrr....but Im doing much better now. My dad has bad teeth and he had to get a bridge when some of his teeth just suddenly died and it cost 4G! Good luck!

3.) That's why I stopped looking at guy's physical apperances for awhile. Then I met Will. He's so wonderful! At first I wasn't sure about how he looked....but the chemistry was there and as time passes(been over 3 years now) he just keeps looking more and more handsome. I dunno what I was thinking when we first met! I know its not the same for all guys but the attractive ones can be pretty cocky and assholes because they feel they have some right over others. hmmm.....Good Looks cannot last forever.

4.)do you have a zip drive instead? that is kinda weird......I got a dell and my boyfriend helped me order it online. He musta made sure I had a floppy drive because he hates zip drives...hmm...

Actually you can buy a floppy for dirt cheap in almost any store. Either internal or external. Most computers don't come with them these days because cd burners and zips. HOwever, buying and installing an internal floppy is pretty simple. I bought one for carI for about 20 something dollars back in the day. BUt, her computer being so cheap didnt have a port. MOst computers at least have that. External works well too, that is what she ultimately put on hers, it connects via usb, pretty simple. So, if you have shit on those old school 3.5's getting one isnt all that hard. YOu dont have to go through dell, kmart, walmart or any store has them. :P
