Dear Self,

You are capable of setting aside an hour before work to pound out a two page creative writing assignment for your class. You find the time to scribble a sentence here and a paragraph there several times a day when working on a longer project.

So why can't you do the same with your own writing?

Love,

Me.

Exactly the question I was posing to myself.

I'm still waiting for my answer.
