After playing an unspecified number of poker hands today I can honestly say I suck at it. But of course now I have an uncontrollable urge to get better. Who wants to teach me?

Well you know I got so good at it, it stopped being a challenge. Had to move on to something that would hold my interest ;-)

urgh im like the only person in the world who has _no idea_ how to even go about playing poker.
i was so excited because kennet said he would teach me when i went to visit him, but i was so horrible at all the "practice games" leading up to "how to play poker" that it never happened.

i think we ended up playing go fish and war.

LOL oh that's so cute! Sounds like the way me and my friend Gayle are with pool. Here's how bad we suck: One day we had some time to kill before...I dunno, something...so we decided to go play pool. We played for two hours and within that time we each sunk ONE BALL! That was five or six years ago. I don't think I've played since.

I miss card games. I used to play Rummy 500 all the time but it's been so long since I played I don't remember how. I still remember how to play Spades though. And Bullshit, and Hearts, and Solitaire but not much beyond that.

I'm starting to get an idea of what constitutes a good hand in poker but I just can't seem to get one :-/

i think i know how to okay bullshit... it was a long time ago.
i DO know how to play solitaire/klondike, but i found out how to cheat on the computer version i have and i cant build the self control not to.

i know how to play that video poker on SCN... but it mostly consists of clicking til something happens.

i tried to play pool once... but i was so hung up on the mathmatical equations from "donald in mathmatics land" that i cant ever do it correctly.
that film warped my childhood :(

They have poker on SCN? I guess I never really utilized their gaming section with the exception of Pets of War. I don't know why but I like my online games to involve make believe animals :-)
