I'm sure you must have seen me cry at some point. That year sucked. I broke down in front of everyone at least once.

1. Freshman year in the Oak Room during lunch. You came in with Moses. You were sick and on a lot of drugs at the time.

Gayle I'm ashamed of you! It wasn't lunch it was DINNER!!! I remember becuase I hadn't eaten all day and it took Moses something like 40 minutes to even convince me to leave my room. And it was Breakfast night in the Oak Room and I was eating M&M pancakes even though they prolly didn't help my illness.

And yes you have seen me cry. I remember because it's an instance I've been thinking about quite a lot recently. It was an example of a person doing exactly the right thing at exactly the right time. It was the first week of Winter term Junior year. I was taking 3.5 credits and was already feeling overwhelmed, I hated Lance Factor's class because he made me feel stupid, and I had just discovered the cyst under my breast. I was really stressed and scared and was on the verge of cracking. I was down in your room one evening just bitching about everything, when you openned your email and found the WVKC schedule for the term. You told me my show had been scheduled three times a week during first hour. Given the fact that my schedule was already 2345, having a first hour show would absolutely kill me. And i just cracked and started crying and said that everything was going wrong. And you got up and hugged me and "Everything is going to be all right." Then you sat back down and helped me try to figure out how to fix the situation. You suggested I email Eric Pietras, tell him my problem, and ask if he could reschedule me. IN my frantic state I would never have thought of anything as logical as that. So I listened to you, wrote the email, and got my show rescheduled. And it was just one less thing I had to worry about.

but hey, I remember what table we were sitting at, it was back in the right hand corner of the front room, near the milk when the milk used to be on the right hand wall, and you guys came in and joined the far end of the table.

and M&M pancakes make things better, not worse :)

As for the other part, I dont generally remember anyone from outside admissions being in my room winter or spring term Jr year. But I'm glad I made you feel better. And I do remember telling you to reschedule your show, I just don't remember you crying...
