Packing is Stupid

morrigirlOkay children, what have we learned today?
1) That packing is the single most time consuming and idiotic activity one can engage in. No matter how much you scale down the number of things you are brining with you, there is NEVER enough room in your suitcases for all of it! NEVER! It's some wacked out law of physics that no one teaches you: suitcases will shrink when in use! I swear I could decide to bring back nothing but a pair of underwear and my toothbrush, and my black duffle bags would suddenly become the size of my thumb nail!! God I hope the trip back to Galesburg isn't as hellish as this packing has been.
2) Nine days after Christmas there are still no Bratz Dolls on the island of Manhattan. All I can say is there better be some nice ones in G-burg or I will have to resort to buying Barbies. Don't make me do it!!!
3) There are no decent calendars anywhere in Manhattan either. With every store selling them at 50% off now the damn things are flying off the shelves. All thats left are the silly tits and ass ones which frankly I have no interest in. And wouldn't you know it, a calendar was the one thing I didn't get this christmas and that is absolutely essential for my continued functioning in normal society. Again, G-burg better have a nice selection :-p
For someone who really doesn't feel like heading back to school tomorrow I sure am putting a lot of hope in Galesburg...or at least K-mart.
Well I'll be on a train for the next 24 hours so I'll write when I get back to school. Wish me a safe trip :)
