Well it's one o'clock and I'm bored and I don't feel like starting my laundry yet (haven't done any in two weeks or so,) so I thought I'd sit down and tell you all about the neato things I've been wasting my time on these last few days.
I saw Deepa last night for the first time in...about a year I think. How crazy is that? We planned on going to see 25th Hour, but when we got to Lincoln Square it was already sold out. But it wasn't a huge loss. We came back to my place and watched Rush. I've been wanting to wacth it for a while and Dee had never seen it. This time around I realized how very little action there is in that film. Really, nothing exciting happens. It's all about the characters, their relationship to each other, thier jobs, and their habits. Deepa was squirming the whole time, she really didn't like seeing Jason Patric stick needles in his arm over and over again.
The two of us sat around and talked, and I was reminded as I am every time we see each other, that Deepa can get me to laugh easier then anyone else in the world. And I think I do the same for her. I swear like, every single thing each of us said sent the other into hysterics!!! I find myself being funnier around Deepa. And HER!! She'd never admit it but she's comedy genius!!! I mean, when she went off about Ravi and the laundry room guy I thought I was gonna pee my pants!!! She's awesome. I wish I could get to spend more time with her than I do. As soon as she gets up the nerve to moveo ut of her parents house maybe I will.
And she brought me a cute little christmas present. She got me a set of four juice glasses with pictures of insects on them so that I'll have something to drink out of when I move into my own apartment, isn't that sweet? They are the cutest things. I will definitely be using them.
Oh, and that reminds me, guess what I got in the mail the other day huh? Material to design and order my GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS!!! EEK!!!! Oh my god it's real!!! I'm graduating in SIX MONTHS!!! God help us!!!!
My complaint of the day is this: I HAVE TOO MUCH HAIR!!! It's too long, too frizzy, too uncontrolable and it must be destroyed. Second order of business after I get back to Galesburg: get a friggin trim!!!
Third order of business is to raid K-Mart, Walmart, and Target in search of new Bratz Dolls, since every toy store in NYC is sold out of them. I will have my Bratz dolls, oh yes, I will have my bratz dolls!!!
And I never told you about AI night did I? Not much to tell really. We went to Nacho Mama's where we all stuffed our faces and increased our waist size by a few inches. Went back to Mike's and watched AI which neither mom nor I were terribly impressed with.
Tomorrow I'm having lunch with Elisabeth at Mona Lisa's.
I haven't been on IM much lately. It's weird, I just don't feel like talking to anyone. Don't know why.
And I've been spending so much time indulging my consumerist side on Neopets recently I think I should start keeping a notebook of all the prices and items in neopia!!! It's so bizarre. I have no money in real life so I wrack up tons of neopoints in neopia so I can spend them fevereishly on my pets as a way of vicariously consuming through them. Does that make sense?
Okay I think I'm done babbling. There is more tosay but, to say it would require effort to which I shout :-p
