Well Flunk Day is now over and my sweet Tina is asleep in her bed, sprawled out, her hair looking like a pile of dead leaves on the pillow. My aren't I feeling literary tonight?
Flunk Day wasn't all that. I was up until 5 AM last night Iming Clark, Gayle, and Adrienne. Though we got word last night that flunk day was gonna be today, I passed it off as a scare. After all it's only mid April. In all my time here Flunk day has never come before the last week of April. Hell it ain't even midterms yet!
In any case I slept for an hour before the friars came around. They recruited some of the most random friars this year. BRYCE was a fucking friar! So were Toby and Norman but they are obvious targets, important and visible within the Knox community. Other than then I don't think I'd even SEEN most of the friars before. It's like, Wow I've gone to school with these people for four years and have never crossed their paths? Man do I feel like a shut in!
So I got up and danced in the quad and took pictures of everyone. I started getting sleepy around ten AM and went home to nap. Or sleep rather. I slept until 6 at night. I had just woken up and ordered pizza when Tina came home with a mad sunburn and Adrienne in tow.
T checked her email and ran back out leaving Adrienne and I to our own devices. Oh hush its not what you think! We sat around my room and talked and we ate pizza and we went outside and jumped around when the band began to play. But then I began to not feel so nice so I went back home to rest. I wound up doing some laundry, whoo hoo.
All in all a lazy and unproductive day. But it wasn't miserable the way last year and freshman year flunk days were. It was neutral. Just like me. And I didn't have to go to class or work or Mary's rehearsal which I was completely unprepared for, so that was nice.
Can't think of much else to say. Hope I can stay awake and be studious tomorrow. So much to do. But Flunk Day is over so at least we dont have to worry about the scares anymore :)
