morrigirl | Pull up your Pants!

Today I hauled my cookies down to Rector Street to interview for a general office position at a law firm. Small firm, small office, only 30 employees total. And everyone there was really young, like in their late twenties to early thirties. it was a real nice atmosphere, very laid back.

And the girl who interviewed me was mad cool! Apparently she had gotten a job at the firm last year, straight out of college, and with nothing more than an English degree. She had been hired to do the job she was interviewing me for. The reason they need a new office wench is caused, this girl, my interviewer who had only been out of college one year, was already being promoted in the firm. Isn't that rad?

Anyway, the interview went well, conversation was lively, and she seemed to like me, so I've got a good feeling about this one.

And if that weren't enough, I got a phone call this evening from ANOTHER company I submitted my resume to and they want to interview me on Monday. The weekend hasn't even begun and I already have an interview for next week! How sweet is that?!

I'm felling very blessed at the moment.

And BTW I still love my computer :-D
