I am sure you are sick and tired of all the YouTube videos I've been posting lately, but I seem to be getting really excited about certain songs and poems, and when I get excited about something I want to share!

Here is this week's musical obsession. It's called "I'd Rather Dance With You" by the Kings of Convenience. I actually discovered this song while browsing The Gap a few weeks back. They were playing it over the speaker system, and I found myself kind of grooving to it. So, I memorized the chorus and then ran the lyrics through a search engine when I got home. In recent years this has become one of my primary ways of discovering new music. I discovered Imogen Heap while waiting in line at The Gap, and last month I discovered "Can't Say No" by The Helio Sequence while waiting in line at Express.

Anyway, I am loving this song because I remember that feeling, that belief that if I could just get a particular person to dance with me I would be able to express so much more than by just talking to them. The song makes me feel sexy! The video, on the other hand, makes me all smiley and giggly. Watch, listen, and you'll see why.

You Are a Good Friend Because You're Loyal

You stick with your friends no matter what, even if you feel like they're doing the wrong thing.

You believe in letting people figure out their own path in life. It's not your place to interfere.

And part of your loyalty means that you'll do a lot for your friends. You definitely go the extra mile.

You'll even do great things for friends without them asking. After all, that's what friendship is all about.

You are truly a friend for life. And you have friends you've known since you were a kid.

Your friends can count on you to do a favor, remember a birthday, or just be there to listen.

Your friends need you most when: They can't turn to anyone else

You really can't be friends with: Fickle people who change friends quickly

Your friendship quote: "Friendship doubles your joys, and divides your sorrows."

The tag surfer on my book review blog just directed me to three pages worth of Battlestar Galactica LOLCats. Frackin' awesome! However, you may wat to avoid them if you are not caught up with the current season. Some of them are a little spoilerish.
