Mom, Greg, and I went to see Juno last weekend. We all thought it was a very cute movie, although I was a little distracted by the dialogue. Real people don't talk like that. Real or not, the movie contained one of the best quotes ever.

There's a scene where Juno asks her father if it's possible for any couple to stay together for good, and he says to her...

In my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person will still think the sun shines out your ass. That's the kind of person that's worth sticking with.

I love that. The right person will always think that sun shines out your ass. I think that is the most perfect description of a loving relationship I have ever heard. It's the way parents feel about their kids, girls feel about their best friends, husbands feel about their wives. I think that is the axiom I will evaluate all my relationships by from here on out.
