Mar. 5th, 2004 02:40 am"If you've had LJ for a year, look back to one year ago today and link back to and quote from your entries of that day. If you have had LJ for more than one year, go back for the same day for each past year and quote for them as well. Either way, quote from the first month you had LJ."
Well I haven't had an LJ for a whole year but I kept my SCN journal for a year and a half so here are the March 5th entries from there.

It is no fun to sit next to the object of your affection in class only to notice the many strategically placed hickies on his neck.
Tango Shoes
Tuesday March 5, 2002
I call this entry Tango Shoes because thats the Bif Naked song i have running through my head right now. That and Hold me by Fleetwood Mac.
I almost wasnt going write an entry today, but then I remmebered the whole point of this thing which is to make sure I write SOMETHING everyday.
Nothing really notewothy happened today, but at the same time a lot of nice things happened.
Spent the day in my room being a bum. Didnt leave the house till 5:30 when i went to dinner with Heather, Steffi, Gayle, Ruby, and Tina. We had alotta fun. We sat in the caf for an hour and a half just talking and telling jokes and making random observations. It was the most fun Ive had in there in a while. Usually I just run in, eat, run out. Today we enjoyed our social setting. It was a nice change.
After we left I went to the Gizmo to get some homework done. Of course I ran into Heather H and gemma there so i wound up sitting and talking with them for a while. Eventually Heather F, Tina, and Wes Williams all showed up. again it was just a nice simple pleasant social gathering, much different then the stuff Ive been used to the last few months. Very open, very relaxed, very silly. Gemma, T and I made up the guest list for our house warming party next year :) Yeah we were bored.
I got six pages of philosophy journal written today. I think Im gonna write two more tomorrow before i turn it in to Hord. Im beginning to think i might just be able to get all this writing done without dying. Im just not stressing, and doing one thing at a time. Im starting to realize there are (honors) students in much worse situations than I.

You're Waiting for Godot!
by Samuel Beckett
Many people think you're extremely dull, but you're just trying to
patient. Really patient. Patient to the point of absurdity, quite frankly. Whatever
you're waiting for isn't going to just come along, so you can stop waiting. I promise.
Move on with your life. Change of scenery might do you good. Heck, any scenery might
do you good. In the meantime, you do make for very interesting conversation.
