The Most Painful Day

1) Today, after lying dormant for six fucking years, one of my wisdom teeth decided to start growing back in again! I am in such pain that I slept through most of the day. The entire right hand side of my face aches. I can't talk, eat, or drink. Moving my mouth in any way hurts like the dickins. And I know what you're thinking, "why don't you get it removed?" My dentist told me for years I should get them taken out, but my mom always said we couldn't do it because it would cost too much. It made sense at the time but now considering that I don't have ANY insurence it's only going to cost more. We should have gotten it done before. I can't stand this pain, and if it's still going on by Monday I'm going to start seriously bugging my mom to FIND some fucking money to get this tooth taken out!

2) I didn't get the job at Nutmeg Recording. I knew I wouldn't. Knew from the first interview. I shouldn't doubt my intuition so much.

3) The Sims are fabulous. Now I understand why everyone loves them so. It is the perfect form of escapism. You can live the life you would like to live. The "Me" in my game has her own apartment, works as a medical technician, and is becoming fast friends with the cute boy who just moved in next door. And she's still depressed, but it doesn't seem to bother anyone.

4) Apparently my Dad is in town! Who knew? He's leaving Monday so I'm gonna go hang out with him tomorrow. Maybe he'll offer me some money to get my teeth taken care of.

Anesthesia

Yay for oral anesthetic. Now the right side of my mouth is totally numb.

And they tell ya not to swallow this stuff. Well thank you! It's in my mouth, there is saliva in my mouth, saliva will inadvertently wash some of it down my throat. Fact of life. Hope I don't keel over.

Sleep when you're dead! Whether it's emotionally or physically, you're exhausted. Have you considered sleeping pills? I took them when I had mono, and they made everything better.
