Good things that have occurred over the last 24 hours:

1) We had our final performance of Laramie, and we struck the set, both of which were immensely fun. David Turley told me I should stop by Taco Bell to say Hi before I leave, and since I have close to nothing to do for the rest of the week I'll prolly go do that since he is one of my new favorite people :) Yay for gay guys!!!

2) Colleen Culbertson gave everyone candid photos that had been taken during rehearsal. Most of mine are pretty terrible but there is one I really like of me Will, and Noah that I may scan and upload onto the site.

3) Mom spilled the beans about what I'm getting for graduation. I told her that Tina had offered me her scanner for 50 bucks and mom was like "Well just tell her thanks, but no thanks." And I asked her why, and she said "well...I didn't want to spoil the surprise but someone is giving you a scanner for graduation. And someone else is giving you a printer." Dude, I am so excited now! The works, they are giving me the works!!! All I'll have to spring for is a webcam!!! I can't tell you how psyched I am.

4) Turned in my last final and am now officially done with all school work for the rest of my life. Yee haw.

5) Slept for 12 hours last night

6)Woke up for the first time in several weeks with absolutely nothing to do, so I went to the computer lab and printed out material from my home account. Later on today I will prolly go over to Tina's and scan stuff, and clean my room a little bit.

Yes, I think I will have to reiterate that sometimes it is good to be me.

It's cold and raining. I've pulled out my green zip up sweater, the one I was hoping I wouldn't have to wear again before leaving Galesburg. Weather reports say it's gonna be like this all week. Bummer. That means graduation day will be dreary and depressing, possibly even in doors for once. Kinda fitting though since Mom told me last night that she heard this is the worst time to graduate from college in the last 20 years. Just my luck.

Went to the Art Department picnic with Tina. It was okay considering there was no food I liked, no one I knew, and I had a bad headache. I came home early and took some ibueprofen, but I still have the headache. Now I'm thinking it's a hunger headache. Tina said she would take me out to eat at the Broadview tonight, after she got back from the picnic. But it's almost 8:00 now and I know she's gonna be shmoozing all night long. If she's not on my doorstep by the time I finish this entry I'm just gonna go to the Broadview by myself.

My bedroom is very daunting. I have to begin packing things away and I don't know where to start. So much easier just to lay down in my bed, fall asleep, and not think about it.

Speaking of bed, I've been so sleepy the last few nights. Days too. I think...I dunno. Maybe my body is starting to detox. Five years is a long time to be in school. Hell, make it 20, that's more accurate. 20 years and almost no break. Well, looks like I'm in for a nice long rest now seeing as there are no jobs to be had in this country.

Started taking my postcards down off the wall today. Wish I couuld keep them up so Mom could see them when she comes. But I can't. It's a long hard process getting those things down, gotta start early.

I went to the bookstore today and indulged in the the year end sale. Bought a tank top I've had my eye on, and two books: Beth Ann's latest book, and Tom's short stories. They both taught me all I know about writing, so I felt obligated to buy their books. I'd never read either of their works, so I wanted to see how crafty these teachers of mine actually were. I wanted to buy Rob's book as well but all they had left was a hardcover copy.

Sold back my books. Got 23 dollars that I promptly handed over to Jen Clark. Gotta pick up my painting from her before the end of the week.

My feet are cold. Time for socks. And warm shoes.
