Every Weapon in the Arsenal
Jul. 24th, 2002 06:53 pmI had a lovely afternoon with Kirk. He arrived early, looked pretty dapper sporting nice khaki pants, a button down shirt, and of course that sweet smile of his :) I got my much needed back massage. We sat around and talked and cuddled on the couch. He was a perfect gentleman and kept his hands to himself. The two of us were kind of silly because we couldn't decide what to do. Turns out we are both indecisive and used to having the other person make decisions for us. So it took us a couple of hours to decide we wanted to go out to eat. And like a couple of broke teenagers we went out to the local pizza parlor and got a couple of slices.
Kirk is just really easy to be around. We have a lot in common. We had similar experiences growing up, we are both shut ins, we don't get out much or have many friends, we have no idea what normal people do for fun since all we do is sit in our houses and do nothing, both severely depressed. Yeah, I like him.
After he left I spoke to Elisabeth on the phone for an hour. Now I'm doing laundry in preparation for the trip. Mom and I are going out to the Poconos this weekend to visit Greg, Cathy, and G. C. I've never been to the Poconos before so is should be an adventure. I'm surprised there is anyone in my family who has earned enough money to buy a house in the Poconos! I thought all Criscuolo's were poor artists. Anyway I'll be gone for three or four days so don't expect any type of update until Monday. Tomorrow I have my appointment with Dr. Jonas. THANK GOD! I sure do need it. Still don't know what's up with the insurence and I don't even really care anymore. I'm just gonna go and get my shit straightened out.
And of course Kirk has asked me to give him a call when I get back into the city :)
