Okay, got my NYU interview set for Friday at 11 AM. Don offered to act as a reference and I plan to take him up on it. Turns out he worked at Bobst for six years. I had no clue. It'll certainly be nice to have a reference from someone who has worked for NYU. Gonna ask Sebastien as well.

Don says there's no reason on earth I shouldn't get this job. He swears I'm perfectly qualified. I've got my fingers crossed.

Either Viji Nittor, the serials and Acquisitions manager, or Marina Sabellico, the library manager. If Viji is out (and there apears to be a 50/50 chance they may be) I'll be interviewed by Marina.

Of course, neither of those people are my connections at the law library, but I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Which is rather odd don't you think? I mean considering how brutal law school is you'd think they'd turn out loads of jumpers. But I guess only stupid freshman actually go to the trouble of killing themselves.

Can't be. People throw themselves out the windows of NYU buildings the city over. Whether it be Bobst or the dorms over by Astor Place (or is it St. Mark's?) I don't think architecture has much to do with it. Though there's a sociology term paper just waiting to be written.
