Very cool! I have never been to that neighborhood, but I had heard it's nice. If I plan to "settle" here forever I may move up to the Bronx myself, since it's so much more affordable.
No kidding! I had no idea the Bronx was so cheap and residential. With Brooklyn and Queens real estate quickly moving into the Manhattan price range, Bronx might be the last safe haven.
Rent is gonna be 550 a month and that includes all utilities. Mind you this "apartment" is more like a glorified dorm room. It's a 13 x 17 space with it's own private bathroom on the top floor of a two family house. No kitchen. One window. But...it's just right for me :-D
