Civic Doody

I went and did my civic doody this afternoon before work. Walked over to my old elementary school at 1:00 PM and cast my vote for "not Bush." Took me all of five minutes since no one else from my district was voting at the time. District 99? Long ass line that took up half the cafeteria. District 100? Dead. Just me. In fact the 100th District table was so fucking clean and orderly it looked as though no one had cast a vote for hours.

In other news, three cheers to my co-worker Charles who has decided not to vote today. Good for you man! And much applause for everyone else who consciously withheld their vote today. I salute you!

I didnt even think people bothered to vote in nyc since everybody votes the same way.
