The thing they don't realize is how much they're missing. I'll never know, really, because I never experienced it. They see it as a good thing, that it was done at birth. I see it as an atrocity.

It's amazing how downplayed the entire thing is. Just a flap of skin. Much more than that.

Well if I were a week old at the time it happened I don't think I'd care. I wouldn't remember the experience of having it removed nor would I remember what it was like to have one.

Don't get me wrong I understand where you're coming from. I don't think it's right to remove anyone's anything without consent. But by the same token once it is over and done with, if it isn't causing you any horrible physical or mental anguish (other than that which you inflict upon yourself) why worry about it?

You try dealing with the physical scars. That's what this restoration thing is about. So I don't have to see that damn scar anymore.

I know all about the emotional trauma I'm purposely putting myself through, so there's no need for me to say anything about it.

It's a topic quite personal to me. I can not ignore that I have a personal stake in it. I can turn it on and off, I suppose. But it's important to recognize that, yes, this bothers me for a reason. That I will never reach my full sexual capacity. Among other things.

I can not confirm this myself, becuase it's only what I've read. But supposedly, the focus of sexual pleasure is not actually the glans, but the foreskin.

But even if that isn't so...

My glans is cracked and dry. It's always been that way. It's supposed to be shiny and smooth. The pleasure I derive from my penis mostly comes from the corona, the ridge of the head.
