Give Buffy a little more credit than THAT!!! She has taken out a gazillion vampires, a living Goddess, infiltrated a top secret military project, and stopped the world from ending roughly three or four times per season for the last seven years!!! I don't think Xena stands a chance.

Well, analyzing it logically,

They both have well above average hand to hand and weapon fighting abilities. I think they would be well matched there.

Xena wears a lot more armor though. so she definitely has the advantage for endurance.

However, Buffy is more cleanly, seeing as she has the advantages of modern amenities. So she won't have to put up with fleas making her itch in battle.

Even if she loses the fight, Buffy has a tendency to come back from the dead a lot, so it may be that she would tire Xena down after a death or two.

I dunno, It's an even fight.

So I'm gonna stick by my original answer. :-)

Yes, but we're assuming that Buffy and Xena are going up against one another on a one-on-one basis. And as we all know, Buffy's nothing without her Scoobies.

On the other hand, Xena against end-of-Season-Six pre-apocalyptic Willow-- there's a battle where the Buffy crew would definitely come in first. (^_^)

Xena. While Buffy has taken out a living Goddess, didn't Xena do that like...twice? Ah screw it, Xena would still win though. She's got a sword, armor, and that chakram is pretty sweet too.

The setting would also play a part though.

One thing to remember though? When two girls fight, ideally, clothes will be removed. Therefore, in a fight between Xena and Buffy, I win. :D
