While cleaning out my Yahoo account I found this poem Norm wrote in response to an email I sent him a L O N G time ago. The date on it is November 22, 2002 so that shows you how old the sucker is. And while I need to delete the email from my account I don't want to get rid of the poem. It's so cute. It's so NORM!!! And Norm is my heart, I fuckin love that guy :)

I liked what you've done with the place,
attached long signals to make me taste a future
that no one will ever erase, so why the long face,
well let me tell you darling that our time apart
is a disgrace, for i love to hear your voice,
not saying that i didn't appreciate your choice,
but you see darling, the noise in your words
your words alone has a warm space that's stored
in my heart. So why poison a long time chat
with a short lined map of rules when it's you that
have all my attention and respect? Call me the lost
collar if you must, but please know that for months
i have been away from your presence your essence
your lessons on such great laughter that i must
trust that you will not take for granted the relationship
we have to continue to mold, thus hold till the time we
grow old.
