1) Vacation - Who doesn't like to get away from their job/family/studying/whatever is consuming all of your time every once in a while?
2) Vaginas - Though I'm more than a little bit miffed at mine right now, in general I find vaginas very pleasing. They are a treat to all the senses.
3) Validation - It's great on your student ID as well as from the mouth of your *insert name of appropriate authority figure here*
4) Valkyries - What's not to love about Norse goddesses of victory and death? They're tough, they're strong, they carry you off to fight in Odin's army in Valhalla. They got your number.
5) Vampires - Just because I love creatures of dark fantasy.
6) Vanity - I have many little things that I am extraordinarily vain about, but none of it is particulrly bad or destructive. For instance, I am vain when it comes to my skin. I have great skin. It's clear, soft and firm. Because I cherish it so very much I try to take good care of it. I wash, exfoliate, moisturize the heck out of it and it rewards me by staying pretty. Of course, that vanity will become problematic the moment I develop my first wrinkle that won't go away, but for now, I think my vanity is good because it motivates me to take care of myself and occasionally others.
7) Vermont - When you ride up to Montpelior on the train in the middle of autumn when all the leaves are changing color, the mountains look like gigantic patchwork quilts.
8) VHS - I abhor change. That's why I prefer good ole VHS tapes to DVDs. I'm sure that will change soon, but for now I'm still a ludite.
9) Violins - They sound pretty. I'd like to learn to play one some day. Not any time soon, but some imaginary day in the future.
10) Visits - I love having friends visit or going to visit them. Lunch, talking, sharing, the whole nine yards. Like vacationing, it's something everyone can enjoy.
