morrigirlIt's hard getting used to an insufferably slow computer once again. I type faster than the damn cursor can move. Hate that. Can't even see what I'm typing. I'll have to ask Mom when we're gonna go get my new computer. And get a new internet provider cause AOL is evil!
In other news, Josh and I went out last night. It was really good to see him and I got all the smoochies and cuddlies I was looking forward to. I dunno if it's just that we have little in common or if we're both too involved in other things right now but I found that we didn't have much to say to each other. It made for a couple weird silences that we simply covered up by kissing and cuddling even more. Brought him back to the apartment to meet Mom. She said he was nice which is a good sign.
But enough about Josh, you really just want to know what I thought of the movie right? I LOVED IT! Then again there's no way I couldn't love it seeing as, ya know, it is the Matrix and all things Matrix are good! I can understand how some people were disappointed with it. The story and the philosophy weren't as tightly tied together as they were in the first movie. But it's there for the viewer to piece together if they take the time. If I were back in Galesburg I would totally go see this film everyday for a week just like I did with the first one. Just keep watching it over and over until I understand it.
A few of my favorite moments: The car chase, that had me on the edge of my seat. Now I understand why Gemma said she was afraid of the twins, those guys are freaky! The fight between Neo and the ten billion Agent Smiths. Awesomeness personified. The scene where Neo talks to the creator, best philisophical moment of the whole movie, made my head hurt. As Josh said, that's one of those scenes you need to rewind the tape and watch a couple more times before you can really get it. And believe me I intend to do just that as soon as this sucker comes out on VHS.
Well, it's time for me to shove off. But before I do I want to let you know that it has taken me a half hour to type these few short paragraphs simply because my computer is slow as shit. I hate this machine. It needs to die and get replaced by a brand spanking new Dell.
