I keel you, with big stick!
Oct. 6th, 2005 06:33 pmWhat a marvelous day! I just got off the phone with the nicest Toshiba USA customer service rep. Ian from Peoria who goes to ISU and is majoring in early childhood development! We had a nice little talk about Peoria and my connection to the area, can you tell? Anyhow, Ian told me Toshiba has a 90 day limited warrenty on cost free repairs so I'm going to have to apply for a Labor Warrenty Extension if I want to try and have it repaired at reduced cost. I have to fax a copy of my receipt along with my name, addy, phone number and a description of my problem to the Peoria office and then some committee of poeple who decide these things will mill it over and figure out if I deserve their help. If they do then I take it to a Toshiba friendly TV repair shop and get it repaired for reduced cost. If they don't...we go to the currently nonexistant plan B, whatever it may be.
Guess what else? Today I found out I've got a radio show. From this day forth, if you miss the sound of my voice, you can hear it every Thursday from 6-8 on WSLC. One thing I didn't realize before is that WSLC is an internet radio station which means none of you have any excuse not to listen! Unless you're at work. Or class. Or getting laid, but even then you can have me playing in the background. I'm not sure when broadcast starts but you can be sure I'll let you know when it does.
Good day all around. Good day.
