Look what I found while playing around on SLC's graduate writing webpage, an article that goes on for a page and a half about KNOX! That made me proud to be a Knox alum. For about two minutes. Gott admit though, no matter what I thought about the town or the teachers or the writing program in general, I went to the right school for my major. And it looks like I'll be going to another real soon. Oh and by the way, can't you just hear Robin going on and on about the deeper meaning of writing? I've never met anyone else in my life who enjoys the sound of their own voice as much as Robin does and I mean that in the most endearing way possible.

And I found this article on my father's theater company's website. It just tickled me pink because those quotes are so totally from my dad.

I love how the reporter said his speech was sprinkled with profanity & that he hasnt developed a southern accent

That article by Ciabaratti was originally in some magazine, I think it was Writer's Digest. Gushed about it. Turns out she was a visiting professor. =)

Yeah I didn't know about the Grammy until I read this. Only reason I know he won Emmys was because I saw them in his office. I'm surprised the interviewer didn't mention those. He might have removed them from the office I suppose. Dad never tells us anything. But, yeah that's the way my dad talks. I like how he is always quoted as "So I says.." My dad never utters the word "said." He grew up in East Harlem in the 40's he doesn't know proper english from a hole in the wall. That's my pops! :-D
