morrigirlHi, just thought I'd drop in and give a quick update.
After much struggling and many train related setbacks that I am trying my damndest to permanently block out, I am back in Illinois. Whoop dee fucking do.
I swear, it really doesn't feel like I ever left. It's all so grossly familiar, so routine, it's almost as though summer never happened.
But the apartment is sweet. It'll be even sweeter once Gemma and I start getting our interior decorator on. I've already decided how I want to arrange my room. And, not to sound rude or pushy, but we're wondering when T is gonna move out so we can start really working with the space. Right now there's a lot of her stuff all over the apartment. It's hard to visualize where to put everything when every surface and corner has stuff in it.
Speaking of Tina, she seems distant. She hasn't said very much to me since I got back. She went out with some friends right after I got home last night. That made me a little sad. I wish she would have stayed and talked to me while I unpacked. It is intensely obvious that she doesn't want to be around me right now, and because of it I'm feeling uncomfortable. I think she may be right afterall. It's prolly better if she moves out. I don't think either of us would be happy if she stayed. It's gonna take her a little time to move though. She has a lot of stuff. I'l have to ask her today if she needs me to help.
Today I ran a few errands, I went to the mall, bought my textbooks, picked up my snail mail. Last night I actually ran into some people I KNOW!!! We saw Will and Michael Barbezat at the Gizmo, they both stopped and talked to us. I was very glad to see Will, he is such a sweetie. I'm gonna have to sit down and really visit with him soon.
Gemma says Agnes has been looking for me, but I still haven't run into her yet. Haven't seen Wes and Heather yeat either. Or Cori, or Jennie. Saw Krista today in the computer lab so we chatted a little. Still haven't seen Kurt, or Moses. If any of you guys happen to be reading this, come visit me at Tompkins 5, I'm bored :D
Classes start tomorrow, yikes! Judgeing from the books we are reading in Am Lit, it seems like it's going to be a very rad class. I'm looking forward to it.
And DUDE catch this, I just looked at my transcript and if I pass all of my classes this year, I WILL HAVE ENOUGH CREDITS TO GRADUATE WITHOUT FINISHING ANY OF MY INCOMPLETES!!! How crazy is that?! I just wish some one had told me where I stood last year, maybe that way I wouldn't have killed myself worrying.
Well that's it for now. Updates may be slow coming since the comps in the lab aren't sophisticated enough to load this page. :-p I may be at Gemma's mercy when it comes to writing in here. Hope she doesn't mind.
