All Ya Need is Love

morrigirlSo I called the ward today trying to reach Alan so I could see if he had Kirk's email address.
Alan was in a meeting when I called, but Derek answered the phone so the two of us spoke for a few minutes. He was very happy to hear from me. He said last night while the Anti-Movie Club, who's members have now been reduced to just Derek and Alan, was sitting out in the hall they were saying how they wished I was there :)
When Alan got out of his meeting Derek handed me off to him. He was happy to hear from me too. We talked a bit and he asked if I'd spoken to Kirk. I told him the whole deal about the cellphone. Alan said he didn't have Kirk's email address. Then the two of us started getting worried and imagining all of these worst case scenarios, like what if Kirk went home, turned off his cell, and tried to kill himself again? What if he is lying dead in his apartment? Needless to say it didn't take long for the two of us to get beside ourselves with worry. Alan suggested I try calling 411 and see if I could contact his mother in Westchester.
After that I got handed off to N'Hai for a couple minutes. It was so crazy. They were all just so psyched to hear from me! And they told me if I'm ever feeling sad or worried or down like I was last night that I should not hesitate to call them. That they would always be delighted to hear from me.
So I got off the phone with them and called information. I don't know Kirk's mother's name, address or even the town she lives in, but I figured that with a last name as unusual as Nachamkin it wouldn't be too hard to locate her. Wrong again. Information had a long list of Nachamkin's in Westchester and said they would need to know town, name, or address in order to give me the right one. Drats.
So then I thought, well I can check the phone book, figuring that since everything is on the internet these days I could find a Westchester county phone directory. Nope. There are no residential online Westchster directories. Furthermore I found out there are something like 6 different white pages for various parts of Westchester. *sigh* Now I'm thinking, well Kirk's mom is divorced, maybe she doesn't even go my her married name anymore, so even if I had access to those phone books theres no guarentee I'd be able to reach her. Mom said I could prolly find phone books at the library, so I mifght go do that tomorrow.
In short, I'm fresh out of ideas! I've tried ever avenue I know of to get in touch with Kirk. I may just have to sit back and wait. After all he DOES have my phone number, and I told him I didn't think I'd be out until Friday or later so it's not like he would or even should be trying to call me yet. I may just have to trust that he WILL call me over the weekend or maybe even next week, and wait for the time to come.
I'm just worried. He doesn't have many friends. I want to make sure he knows he has me.
Is anyone out there in possession of a Westchester county white pages and willing to look up a name for me?
