Happy Feet

morrigirlSorry for that depressing entry last night. I haven't publicly loathed myself in several days. All my bad thoughts were building up, I had to get them out somehow. Sometimes we just need to do that, you know? Just sit down and feel really sorry for ourselves. Only then can we get up and pick up where we left off.
Actually did a lot of cool things yesterday that I wanted to mention. Went to Amanda and Lisa's sexual assualt presentation which was very interesting. They offered ideas on how the school can better support victims of sexual assault. It was funny listening to the faculty who were in the audience try to defend the current system. I wonder if they realized how biased and stupid they sounded?
And, like I said, I bought a new book to read yesterday. I also retired my first pet of war, Deadly Friend. I have a new one now, an orange tiger named Kristy Swanson :)
It's insanely hot. We seem to have lept straight from winter to summer, same as last year. Honestly, I don't think we've had a Spring on this campus in two or three years. Not two nights ago T was complaining about how cold she was, now we have all the windows open and both fans running. And it's STILL hot!
I have to start getting my shit together. All the girls in our suite are leaving. They've packed up the living room leaving it barren and white. I have to start thinking about packing and shipping. I have three boxes ready to ship. I need to send those out next week. I need to meet with all of my profs one more time just so we can fill out the official paper work on my incompletes. I hope they wil all be on campus next week.
Spoke to Insiyah today in the Gizmo. Sure she may be one of Marc's best friends but she's really sweet. Has always been nice to me. I have to admit, I like her. Even if she is fraternizing with the enemy.
Can't really think of anything else to say. Guess I'll go play on the puter and continue the saga of cleaning my room.
