Just spoke to Gemma and apparently Lindsey and I weren't the only ones to go kooky. Gemma says something evil has infested the campus this weekend. And all the shit went down Friday night.
Okay, so after improv there was apparently an impromptu party over at Tristina's apartment. Heather H, Gemma, Tris, Nathan, Jen and her Bf Dan, Jackie Dehne, and a few other people were there. Before anything else it must first be noted that Jackie was supposed to go out on a date with Moses after improv that night. Instead she brushed him off to attend this gathering. He was not happy about that, but I won't continue down this road of thought, I will refer you to his journal if you are interested in that story. I only mention it because I want to point out that wrong things were going on right from the start.
So it's Friday night after a theatrical performance and of course there is drinking at this party. Gemma didn't give me details but she told me that the gathering turned into an all out orgy with naked people on the floors and random people kissing one another. Gemma said she felt really uncomfy.
Here's the kicker. At one point Jackie, Tristina, and Jen's bf Dan all disappeared into the bedroom for an extended period of time. The next day, Dan was begging for Jen's forgiveness. (and she wasn't giving it to him, good for her.) And Evie wasn't talking to Tristina because she was mad that Tris had screwed Jen over so royally. Gemma is of course ready to spit nails. Jen may have been irritating her over the last month or so but that fact still remains that Jen is Gemma's pledge daughter and she has a responsiblity to look out for her. Gemma is a very loyal person. So now Gemma says she can never respect Tris again. I must agree, messing with another girls bf is not cool. She said it was a good thing Evie was around to stop her from going after all three of them with a scythe. (go Gemma.)
I'm just glad to know it isn't just me who is having friend issues this weekend. Needless to say now Tris will definitely not be living with us next year. Just as well. I don't hate the girl or anything but she has changed radically since I first met her in English Lit class, and I don't really like most of the changes she has gone through. I think her moral code is collapsing.
With all this melodrama going on I think it's time to put my nose back in my books and wait it all out. See where the chips may fall.
But talking to Gemma made me feel good, reminded me that there are people in this world who give a shit about me and who enjoy my presence :) Talked to Elisabeth and Karisha tonight briefly as well and talking to them did the same thing. Now there are two devoted chicks. I've known them forever. Well, 7 and 8 years respectively but it feels like forever. I give props to anyone who is willing to put up with my shit for that long :)
