1. Your favorite song with the name of a city in the title: "Heavenly City" by Candy Dulfer. Yeah, yeah, yeah it's not a REAL city, but the question doesn't indicate that it has to be.

2. A song you've listened to repeatedly when you were depressed at some point in your life: "Crucify" by Tori Amos.

3. Ever bought an entire album just for one song and wound up disliking everything but that song? Can we say Evanescence? I went to Tower intending to buy the CD single of "Bring me to Life," but the album was only two bucks more so I bought it thinking that for two extra bucks I might end up with an entire CD of good music. I should have bought the single. I wouldn't have felt so gipped.

4. A song whose lyrics you thought you knew in the past, but which you later learned were incorrect: That song from the Pretty Woman soundtrack, "The King of Wishful Thinking." When I was 10 I thought it was "The King od Wishbone, Baby." Can you really blame me? The singer slurs his way through the entire song.

5. Your favourite song from a musical: "Aldonza" from Man of La Mancha

6. A song you like by someone you find physically unattractive or otherwise repellent: "When Doves Cry" by Prince. I don't understand how any one could sleep with him without up chucking all over the sheets.

7. Your favorite song that has expletives in it: "Out of Habit" by Ani Difranco. "My cunt is built like a wound that won't heal." There really isn't a better line in all of folk music.

8. A song not in English or German: "Te Dejo Madrid" by Shakira

9. A song you like (possibly from your past) that took you forever to finally locate a copy of: "867-5309 - Jenny" by Tommy Tutone. Surprisingly it took me five years to find an 80's compilation that contained this song.

10. A song that reminds you of spring but doesn't mention spring at all: Don't have one. There's only one song on earth that reminds me of spring, and that's "Spring Haze" by Tori Amos.

11. A song that sounds to you like what being happy feels like: "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison.

12. Your favorite song from a non-soundtrack compilation album: The aforementioned "867-5309 - jenny" by Tommy Tutone.

13. A song from your past that would be considered politically incorrect now (and possibly was then): "Redneckes" by Randy Newman. Definitely not a tune you can play on the radio.

14. A song that reminds you of what being drunk feels like: Anything by Jethro Tull.

15. A song you actually like by an artist you otherwise hate: "I Am" by Eminem.

16. A song by a band (whose members actually play instruments) that features three or more female members: "Here" by Luscious Jackson.

17. One of the earliest songs that you can remember listening to: "The Warrior" by Scandal

18. A song you've been mocked by friends for liking: Anything boy band related.

19. A really good cover version you think no one else has heard: Kristin Hersh's cover of "When the Levee Breaks."

20. A song that has helped cheer you up (or empowered you somehow) after a breakup or otherwise difficult situation: "Strange Thing" by Sophie B. Hawkins.

21. A song you've listened to while engaging in a sexual act: "Leonor" by Katell Keineg

22. A song that (sometimes) makes you cry: "Me and my Charms" by Kristin Hersh never fails to turn on the water works.
