Jan. 30th, 2004 12:07 amI finally have the means to take a vacation of some sort, a trip, a getaway. And I work at a college that has a little something called spring break. And whereas I never had money to go anywhere for spring break when I was actually IN college, now I do and damn it I wanna go somewhere!!!
From what I can tell I will have Apr. 8th and 9th off. BUT since the 9th is a friday and I would have had that day off anyway, the school has to give me an extra day off to compensate for that second day that every one else gets. SOOOOOOO I'm willing to bet they're gonna give me that Saturday off. Therefore I will probably get Apr 8 - 11 off. A nice four day stretch during which I can go wherever the hell I want.
Personally, I've kinda got my eye on Baltimore simply because it's only a two hour train ride and I've watched way too much Homicide:Life on the Streets. And if I went there I could spend time with Mike and Clark.
At first I was thinking I'd con brother Michael and Danielle into coming with me and driving me down there. If they came I'd have a car and the option of going into DC. But the two of them are kinda ghetto broke right now, so I dunno if they'd be able to afford it. Especially since I want to stay at a nice fancy hotel simply because I CAN AFFORD IT FOR FUCKING ONCE!!!!!
On second thought...maybe I should just go to DC. There's more to do there, and I can always just get Clark to drive me to Baltimore.
