Sometimes I'm Happy - SCN
May. 14th, 2003 02:06 pmOne of the many perks to working at the library is having the opportunity to interact with so many different people, ones you maybe wouldn't even speak to on a regular basis. You get to help them find books, check out reserves to them, and through this find out information about people that you wouln't normally be privy to.
For example, the simple act of checking a book out to this really cute guy who I've had my eye on for a while led me to discover his name, home address, campus address, and place of origin. God bless ID numbers and the online directory. Not to mention silly boys who have no idea how to locate books in a library.
His name is Luke Livingston Birch, and he is from New Hampshire. I should've known, he totally has that "I'm too cool for my black shirt" east coast look about him. He's got long dark hair and that waifish Fiona Apple kinda body.
Of course, he's only eye candy, but I'm glad my eye candy finally has a name.
