Aug. 26th, 2002 06:52 pm*sigh* Kirk was suppose to come over today. But did he ever call? Of course not. Have I mentioned that my biggest pet peeve is people who are late or who blow off plans without even having the courtesy to inform the other party? I swear, the guy is a sweetie but he is not reliable at all and that pisses me the fuck off!
Speaking of sweeties, apparently my dad has a new girlfriend who he has been seeing for about a year. How come no one ever tells me anything? Actually Mike said dad still doesn't even consider her his girlfriend. Pretty typical of him. Her name is Sheila and rumor has it she wants to get married but dad is all like "no way." I don't blame him. He's been married three times. Sometimes you just gotta know when to throw in the towel.
I haven't told you yet that they are going to release a soundtrack to Once More With Feeling! I'm so psyched! It comes out Sept. 24. Needless to say I'm running to Sam Goddies that day! And then I am going to play song after buffilicious song from it on the radio! Can we say obsessed?
Mike and I saw terrible theater last night. Saw "Burn This" with Catherine Keener and Ed Norton. Ed was good, but Catherine Keener was horrid! She wasn't even trying! She was just totally level the entire performance, never showed anything that could even be remotely construed as emotion, not to mention the fact that she has been spoiled from doing so many movies and was mummbling her lines. Couldn't hear a damn word she said the whole show!
Hmm, not sure what else to say. I just felt like writing...I dunno, to write. Oh and speaking of writing, I haven't worked on my portfolio project all weekend. Don't feel too good about that. However Thursday night I did write two or three pages and was very proud of myself. Now with two weeks left till I go back to school, I think I;ll just focus on the easier assignments, the education and literature papers, since I could ceoncievably get those finished in a matter of days, and put off the portfolio until they are finished. Afterall Monica did tell me I could have another extension if I needed it, and I may take her up on the offer. Still need to email Dean Bailey and tell him I'm coming back.
I can't wait to get to our new apartment. From what I hear Tina and Gemma are enjoying the hell out of it. Lots of space, lots of decoration. It sounds dreamy. Oh I also can't wait to get back so i can use T's scanner to scan some pictures of myself. I feel like the only person on this site who doesn't have a picture up. Or maybe Gemma will let me use her web cam to take a freeze frame shot of myself. That way I can ensure a picture where I know I'll look good :)
*sigh* Well I guess that's enough for now. If I think of anything else I'll fill you in. Ta ta.
