How I Love
Sep. 12th, 2004 01:37 amThe Center: by Tanya Donelly
You're in the room, I can feel you.
I don't want to, then I do.
I hear the voices of the Graces in here,
swiming around in the corners of our room.
You hold the center and I sing forever,
and you won't hear the same song twice.
We're shorter in breath, maybe longer in tooth lately,
you are the love of my life.
I'm on your side, believe it or not.
Just don't sneak up on me and we'll do just fine,
hold out your arm and I will fly to you,
bring your leather and I will sink my pins in you.
You hold the center and I sing forever,
and you won't hear the same song twice.
We're shorter in breath, maybe longer in tooth lately,
you are the love of my life.
You are the mountain, I'm the low flying bi-plane,
We come together in the most calamitous ways.
You're the Tsunami, I am the fisher in the bay,
We come together in the most glamorous ways.
You hold the center, I ride the satellite,
We come together, you are the love of my life.
SOUL LOVER: by Sophie B. Hawkins
Like your student
I hang on every word you say
Like your disciple
I don't have to stay
Like your heartbeat
There are things I've always known
Like your lover
I'm already part of your soul
No words can tell you what I feel
No looks can show you what I see
No one can teach me what is real
Nothing can take you away from me
Like your passion
I have waited for the key
To unlock the vision
That will set my soul free
No words can tell you what I feel
No looks can show you what I see
No one can teach me what is real
Nothing can take you away from me
No time can give me what I need
No way around what I've been through
No space can fill up the empty-
Ness in my soul when I want you
1) Blah blah blah, caved...blah blah blah, gmail...blah blah blah, six invites...you know what to do.
2)I know what I want for Christmas, for someone to get me a paid LJ membership. I need more icons.
3) Brook chilled with me all day at the library. Said he missed me yesterday. He's a good kid.
4) Victor dropped in to say hi to me. Turns out he's at the Central Islip campus this term and is working on tranferring to the University of Texas. I'm sad to lose him but...he'll be happier back home. It was good to see him.
