So I was in the mood for pizza again this afternoon so I trotted on over to my pizza parlor where the guys all know me and call me "Carlita." I walked in and standing right in front of me was the man with the beautiful brown hair, the one I wrote about yesterday. He was reading a copy of the Daily News while waiting for his slice of pepperoni to come up. He wore a pair of broken in jeans, a concert t-shirt, and New Balance sneakers. Very casual, very slacker chic. After paying he sat down at the same table as yesterday. The place was packed so I couldn't sit at the table beside him. I wandered over to my regular table, and sat gazing at him as I ate. Yes, I am a total stalker. I was just so delighted to see him again, I couldn't believe my good fortune. And I was feeling on my game today so I resolved to pay him a compliment on his hair before I left.

Now I'm not the sort of girl who talks to strangers, but I figured if God or whoever the hell controls this stuff had deemed me worthy of a second chance, I better bloody well take it. So when I was done eating and disposing of my trash I walked right up to the guy and said, "Excuse me, I just wanted to tell you you have really gorgeous hair."

He looked up at me. He had the greatest big hazel brown eyes with green flecks that just totally lit up when I spoke! He smiled, laughed a little, and seemed really delighted. "Thank you," he said in the cutest voice. I said "You're welcome," turned around and left. It was so damn awesome!!! I totally think I made his day. He looked so happy and taken aback when I complimented him, it was wonderful!!! And I left feeling absolutely ecstatic!!! Not only because I'd had the guts to do something I wouldn't normally do, but because I made someone happy :-D
