Tearing Apart the House

I hate being all poopy sick :-p My nose is running a fucking marathon down my face, my throat is all dry and scratchy, my head is fuzzy, and my lips are chapped. Stupid cold weather. I was doing great physically before the cold front moved in. Welp, guess it's time to start pouring down the vitamin C. Everyone jokes that one day I'm gonna OD on vitamin C, but, hey, it does a cold good...or...bad. Guess it depends on which side you're looking at it from, the affliction's or the aflictee's.

After a night of desperate searching I have still failed to find my birth certificate. I have no clue where the fuck it is. It isn't in my bedside table, and it's not over by bookcase which are the two places I usually keep it. I have gone through every box, sifted through every piece of paper I own, but to no avail. I'm gonna have to start moving furniture pretty soon. No, I'm serious.

So that remains a task I need to accomplish today, along with getting my state ID renewed. I need to find out what their hours are.

I also need to go down to bed, bath, and beyond and see if they've begun stocking humidifier filters yet. I really need to use mine but I need a filter.

Anyone know which agency I'd need to contact in order to get a new copy of my birth certificate?

Generally I think you can get a copy of that from the county offices, though I'm not sure if it has to be in the county in which you were born. I think you can also get copies at some currency exchanges, but it probably takes longer and is more expensive. I'd say call your local courthouse and ask.

No problem. I've spent too much time lately getting and changing my important documents. ^_^'
