Secret Hotties
I still can't sleep. You'd think after conking out at 6 AM this morning, waking up for class at 10, and going the entire day without a nap that I'd be at least a teeny weeny bit tired. No sir, not me. It's 3 AM once again and I'm AWAKE! Tried laying down and closing my eyes, doesn't do any good. I just toss and turn and end up talking to myself to pass the time. Eventually I figured it was better to talk to myself through my journal then with my actual voice.
I think Gemma and Adam are starting to have...a thing. I know she's growing restless with Jon, and even though I know they won't break up, she has finally come around to admitting that she and Adam really love each other. Which of course the rest of us knew all along. I mean let's think about this, they spend almost every waking hour together, they even take the same classes, they are interested in all the same things. Adam is much more literarilly (is that a word? it is now) oriented than Jon, and I know Jon's lack of interest in anything other than video games was really starting to bother Gemma. She'll kill me for saying this but, I think she and Adam are a really good match. Prolly better then she and Jon. Better then she is ready to admit. Eh, I was skeptical before, but now...I'm beginning to think she might finally come around, and all of Adam's waiting will pay off.
Just a theory.
It's official, Mikey will be here on Feb. 28 and will be staying until Mar 2. I'm so thrilled beyond belief. I haven't had a NY visitor in years. I'm sure I've said that before but it's just so cool! I mean, as much as I hate to admit it, Knox has become a big part of my life. But because of the distance it's a part of my life I'm unable to share with my most beloved NY companions. Being able to bring even one of them into the fold for a couple of days is very exciting.
No rehearsal tomorrow or Thursday. YAY!!! Maybe I'll finally get some HW done. Janet told me today that Magali thinks I dropped her class. Oops. Well I'll show up tomorrow and set her straight.
And for flavor might I add that I adore Matt Lindquist! Saw him again this evening in, where else? the Gizmo. He sat and ate dinner with me Marisa, Tina, and Steffi. We're actually starting to be REAL friends. Like, we talk about non school related stuff now. And I swear to god his eyes light up when he sees me. Not in that "omigod there's the girl I like" sorta way... he does have a gf afterall, but in that "hey there's my good buddy," kinda way. I'm sure my eyes light up as well. I dunno, I just love talking to him, and he is so fun to diss on and laugh at/with. He is just cool cool cool.
He is also what I refer to as a "secret hottie." A person who totally has a way with the opposite sex, but doesn't publicize the fact at all. Meghan Wilbar is a secret hottie. She gets any and every guy she wants, but not because she tries, just because she's...herself. And she isn't all vocal about it. In fact she likes to keep her romantic life private. Ask her and she'll tell you she's nothing special. Ditto for Matt. But they totally are. Dunno what it is. Maybe it's just a special kind of charisma.
Still not sleepy, but I've run out of things to write about.
